Job Description
The Rail Sales Manager leads sales development within the rail sector identifying new business opportunities, managing key client relationships and driving revenue growth through tailored solutions for rail operators. Location Torino / Milano.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the main point of contact for the clients, ensuring consistent communication and alignment;
* Generate opportunities with existing customers;
* Lead client acquisition and manage high-value accounts;
* Collaborate with consulting teams to align service offerings with client needs;
* Prepare and present proposals, bids, and commercial offers;
* Develop and execute sales plans;
* Develop a deep understanding of the client’s business, industry, and strategic priorities;
* Monitor market trends and competitor activities;
* Select technical profiles with a support the recruitment team.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field;
* 5-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 in engineering consulting companies for rail sector;
* Proven track record in consultative selling and business development;
* Strong network within the rail industry (operators, infrastructure managers, OEMs);
* Fluent in English;
* Excellent negotiation, presentation skills.
