We have an opportunity for a Sales Specialist in North Italy to support our growing business in our Interventional Cardiology Division to provide product training and case support to our growing customer base. This role will report to the Sales Manager –Italy.
As a member of the Interventional EMEA Business Unit, this essential commercial position will have a high degree of autonomy and responsibility to help deliver the revenue growth expectations through more in-depth product utilization and customer adoption through consistent customer training and product and intensive case support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Sales Specialist –Interventional Cardiology will be pivotal in developing the Interventional Cardiology business by acquiring knowledge and expertise. The role will provide troubleshooting support for the sales operation and support customers daily with product training and case support, providing technical expertise through product presentations, demonstration, and support, both virtually and in-person.
Working closely with your colleagues from Sales, Marketing and Clinical Medical Affairs, you will organize and conduct regular product training and CMA education for key customers to drive the growth through more in-depth product utilization, building confidence in the operator through everyday use and using the latest supporting materials to ensure the customer understands the product and its benefit both to clinical practice and patient.
The role will be deeply involved in driving the execution of the associated commercial tactical plans needed to increase awareness and uptake of Teleflex Access and Closure products across the region. You will be working alongside the Sales Manager to target key accounts, maximize operational efficiency, implement business strategies, attend key customer meetings and conferences and liaise with and develop a Key Opinion Leader network.
While the role will initially be a supporting role, as the customer base grows in key accounts and expertise is attained in the product range, the position will take on further responsibility for developing new accounts in all the Italian territory.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
This role would ideally suit an experienced Sales Professional / Product Specialist with proven experience of selling / supporting medical devices in Cardiology/Cardiac Cath Labs, but other relevant experience such as Surgical equipment would be considered.
You will be educated to at least a degree level in a life-sciences / engineering or business-related subject.
You should be a strong team player, have a strong work ethic, and a can-do attitude.
