PIndustrial automation is evolving and Arduino is building the tools that make it smarter, more connected, and reliably scalable. We’re looking for a Product Manager for Industrial Automation Solutions to lead the expansion of our growing industrial portfolio. /ppbr/ppIn this role, you’ll shape Arduino’s future in the industrial space, owning the roadmap of our flagship products already adopted by engineers and system integrators worldwide, while also driving the design and launch of new hardware and software solutions for factory automation, intelligent infrastructure, and edge computing. /ppbr/ppThis is a strategic, hands-on position where you’ll turn real-world industrial challenges into robust, user-friendly, and future-proof products. /liliA meaningful work opportunity in a mission-driven company committed to empowering people around the world. /li /ul pAnd if you live near one of our offices… /pulliPing pong and football tournaments (sport or gym benefit is also included for everyone!). /liliSeasonal celebrations, happy hours, and everyday drinks and snacks at the office. /liliSunny rooftop lunch breaks and hamacas for relaxation and concentration. /li /ulpbr/ppbWhat you'll work on /b /ppbr/ppbShape the Vision /b /pulliContribute in the roadmap definition and management for the Industrial Automation products in alignment with company priorities /liliIdentify new product opportunities through market research, user insights, and competitive analysis /liliTurn ideas into actionable product strategies, aligned with Arduino’s mission and user needs /li /ulpbDrive Development /b /pulliTranslate product goals into technical and usability requirements and collaborate with engineering to ensure feasibility /liliOversee development and industrialization, ensuring consistency with cost, timeline, and quality targets /liliCoordinate with supply chain and operations for prototypes, pre-series, and production ramp-up /liliEnsure that documentation and compliance standards are met for all launches /liliCollaborate with content and support teams to develop key materials, including getting started guides, tutorials, and example projects /li /ulpbPrepare for Go-to-Market and Launch /b /pulliCooperate with internal functional teams to gather feedback from validation, field testing, and early access programs to fine-tune the product /liliWork with marketing and sales to build product messaging /liliManage launch materials preparation and deliver product training and enablement to internal stakeholders (primarily sales and marketing) and to external partners (such as value added distributors and system integrators) /liliContribute to pricing and positioning strategies to ensure differentiation and market fit /liliAlign all teams involved to ensure operational readiness at launch /li /ulpbOwn the Lifecycle /b /pulliMonitor product performance using customer feedback, usage data, and business KPIs /liliIdentify improvements, enhancements, and opportunities for iteration or versioning /liliSupport lifecycle decisions, including margin reviews, pricing updates, and end-of-life planning /li /ulpbr/ppbWhat you bring /b /pulli3 to 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in industrial automation, Industrial IoT or Building Automation /liliStrong ability to read and interpret hardware schematics to ensure seamless integration and communication with hardware and firmware teams /liliPrevious experience managing industrial controllers, PLCs or industrial computers used in factory automation, process control, or infrastructure monitoring /liliKnowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, Ethernet/IP) and system integration in factory or field environments /liliExperience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, marketing, and sales /liliStrong grasp of product lifecycle management, including roadmap definition, product requirements, and release planning /liliConfident in analyzing data and user insights to drive data-informed decisions on prioritization, pricing, and product performance evaluation /liliAbility to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders /liliStrong sense of ownership and accountability, with a proactive attitude toward driving product success /liliBachelor’s or Master’s degree in electronic engineering, mechatronic engineering, computer science, or a related technical field /liliFluency in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory; proficiency in Italian is a strong plus. /li /ulpbr/ppbBonus Points /b /pulliExperience working with open-source hardware or software projects /liliFamiliarity with Arduino products, including the use of Arduino IDE, libraries, and toolchains /liliAbility to write or review technical content, such as getting started guides, datasheets, or tutorials /liliExperience with electronic design tools, including KiCad or Altium /liliFamiliarity with mechanical design considerations such as enclosure requirements, DIN rail compatibility, IP ratings, and thermal/certification constraints for industrial use /liliCuriosity, adaptability, and willingness to dive into new and unfamiliar topics /li /ulpbr/ppIf you're excited about this role or our company but your background doesn’t align exactly with the requirements, we still encourage you to apply.
