As one of the world’s largest integrated pulp and paper companies, with over 100,000 employees worldwide, APP delivers quality products to more than 150 countries through world-class manufacturing and a robust international sales network. \r\n\r\n APP Group is seeking a Sales Manager – Brand Owners & Strategic Accounts to develop and grow long-term partnerships with brand owners in the food and consumer packaging sectors across Italy. \r\n\r\n We welcome candidates from commercial sales, customer development, or strategic procurement backgrounds who have deep experience in Paperboard or Packaging categories and strong exposure to supplier–customer negotiations. \r\n\r\n Develop and manage senior relationships with brand owners in food, beverage, and consumer packaging \r\n Act as the primary commercial interface for assigned strategic accounts \r\n Lead commercial discussions and negotiations including pricing models, volume commitments, and long-term agreements \r\n Drive account growth, portfolio expansion, and supply partnerships \r\n Translate brand owner priorities (cost, quality, sustainability, supply security) into commercial solutions \r\n Provide market insights on paperboard, packaging, and commodity trends \r\n\r\n 5+ years of experience in paperboard, packaging, pulp & paper, or related industries \r\n\r\n Sales, customer development, or key account management OR \r\n Proven involvement in contract negotiations, supplier management, or commercial decision-making \r\n Understanding of cost drivers, pricing mechanisms, and volume-based contracts \r\n Ability to influence stakeholders across procurement, operations, sustainability, and management \r\n Commercial mindset with interest in revenue growth and customer development \r\n Market Knowledge \r\n Familiarity with Italy food packaging market and requirements, quality standards, and sustainability topics \r\n Understanding of how brand owners evaluate and select strategic suppliers \r\n Languages \r\n Fluent Italian required \r\n Strong English required \r\n\r\n&##Learn more about our Sustainability Roadmap Vision 2030 and be part of a team shaping the future of sustainable fibre-based packaging. \r\n\r\n&##Apply now to become a key contributor to our European commercial growth and help deliver next-generation packaging solutions. \r\n\r\n hiring #salesmanager #brand owners #packaging #Ipaperboard #taly #APPGroup #packagingindustry #commercialroles #careeropportunity
