The award-winning ghd tools are used by 200,000 stylists around the world and sold in 30+ countries and more than 45,000 premium salons. /p pRenowned for game changing innovation and superior performance, at bghd /b we are on a mission to transform lives with the power of a bgood hair day /b! /p h3ROLE OVERVIEW /h3 pThe Category Manager is a key member of ghd marketing team and is responsible for supporting the company growth through the management, positioning, communication and commercialisation of the latest innovations divided by product categories. /p pThe person in this role will be responsible to oversee and optimise the performance focused on specific product category within the company. Through detailed research and analysis of customer purchasing behaviours, the category manager will customise category offerings to meet customer demands, ensuring growth and alignment with the company’s broader marketing strategy. /p h3JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 h3Market Intelligence /h3 ul liAnalysing the entire performance of a specified category on a local basis: /li liCategory and competitor market shares (value and volume) /li liCompetitor analysis including strategy, product range, pricing and how they link up to consumer trends /li liLead the understanding, analysis, and documentation of competitor activity to ensure competitor understanding is front and central in our planning and activation /li liPricing local analysis and proposals /li liMonitor and evaluate category performance, leveraging key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures /li liGenerate regular polls and reporting with internal team providing launch and campaign feedbacks /li liRecommend new product concepts based on category knowledge, market intelligence and input from markets /li liAnalyse new product attributes requirements, concept, claims, pricing and positioning in market to optimise product reach, sales profit /li liDesign an annual promotional plan for each category to deliver national marketing plan, sales objectives, customer and consumer needs /li liEnsure Category profitability, growth and alignment with the company’s boarder marketing strategy. /li liA strong affinity for Digital with full understanding of Social Media networks / channels and their triggers /li liCollaborates with cross functional teams to secure 360 support across channels to drive category performance in line with the category A+CP budget goals. /li /ul h3Communication and Go to Market /h3 ul liDevelop local assets supporting launches for all channels /li liWork alongside the commercial department to assist in developing local promotional marketing plans, giving input and suggestions on how they fit with the local strategies and assets /li /ul h3KEY SKILLS ATTRIBUTES /h3 ul liMarketing qualification or equivalent /li li5-8 years Category Management experience, pricing strategies /li liFull proficiency in English /li liFull proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint and Excel /li liStrong analytical skills /li liStrong affinity with beauty and trends is a plus /li liAdvanced experience with Excel, or other analytical/Business Intelligence tools /li /ul h3What we offer /h3 pbA dynamic environment /b in a fast-growing company; /p pbTraining /b: We support everyone's professional growth and believe in lifelong learning; /p pPersonal Pc and smartphone; /p pbWelfare package /b including ticket restaurant and integrative health care /p pbAccountability /b: we have a performance system based on individual targets, set year by year; /p pbSmart working /b: 6 days per month of smart working /p pbAlternative Fridays /b to end the week in a fun way /p h3VALUES /h3 pWe at ghd are proudly committed to our Company Values, and aim to attract and retain employees who live our Values. /p pbCollaborative /b – We work together to create the extraordinary. /p pbCreative /b – We foster creativity excellence to create value for our brands and business. /p pbCourageous /b - We are agile, entrepreneurial we own our future /p pbConnected /b - We stay connected and ensure we are always consumer first. /p pbCommitted /b - We are responsible for our impact on other the planet. /p pbHave a good day, every day with ghd. /b /p pWe’re passionate about innovation, not only in our products, but working to constantly innovate our place of work, creating an inclusive workplace that promotes and values diversity.
