Primary Purpose and Overall Objective of the Job The Product Manager manages and promotes bioMérieux's bacteriology solutions (products, software, and services). This role supports marketing strategy, implements and follows up on marketing action plans, and ensures the successful launch of new products to boost the bacteriology solution in sepsis and AMR / AMS fields. The goal is to ensure growth and profitability for bioMérieux, considering regulatory and legal constraints across different markets. The manager also supervises the sales budget and ensures the product's right positioning based on strong market and competitor knowledge. Main Accountabilities Develop, implement, and monitor marketing action plans to position bioMérieux as a leader in AMR / AMS within Italy. Support strategy, implement marketing actions/events, and oversee new product launches within the perimeter. Analyze sales data and top customers to identify new opportunities and mitigate threats in collaboration with the Market Manager Bacteriology Adriatic. Ensure solid product/solution positioning and market development aligned with strategic goals, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Analyze competitors’ offerings and market dynamics to identify new growth opportunities for bioMérieux bacteriology solutions. Manage forecasts and allocations, supporting Supply Chain in critical product management. Contribute to updating tender dossiers and marketing tools. Oversee technical review of product labelling translations requested by Corporate PLD for bacteriology lines. Manage the product lifecycle for bacteriology products, including PPO and customer communication. Lead activities for local KOL management and collaborate with Medical, Sales, and Customer Service on transversal projects. Plan and execute field force product training sessions. Studies-Experience, Skills, and Qualifications A scientific degree is required; additional experience in marketing and/or sales is preferred. Experience in the healthcare sector is required; experience in the IVD sector is a plus. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is necessary. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems (Salesforce experience is a plus). Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across various functions and deliver strong public presentations.
