The Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel belonging to Marriott International, is recruiting for a Commis de Bar. This seasonal, full‑time contract role (40‑hour week, 5 days, 2 consecutive days off) will run from June to October 2026 and will report to the Bar Manager. The role offers the opportunity to work in a venue of exceptional art and elegance, serving guests during international city events such as the Biennale, Carnival and the Venice Film Festival.

What You’ll Do
- Welcome guests
- Support service at tables and at the bar
- Follow standard operating procedures and brand identity guidelines
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests
- Maintain knowledge of the bar menu
- Prepare garnishes and appetizers
- Stock ice, glassware and paper supplies
- Set up and maintain cleanliness of the bar area
What We’re Looking For
- Legal right to work in Italy and a valid full‑time work permit
- Fluent English and Italian, both verbal and written
- Understanding of luxury hospitality F&B; operations
