Role: Commis Chef As a Commis Chef, you will be an essential part of our kitchen team, working closely with senior chefs to craft and deliver outstanding culinary experiences. Your responsibilities include: Supporting the Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, and Head Chef in preparing and cooking dishes. Preparing ingredients by washing, peeling, and slicing as per recipes and kitchen needs, ensuring freshness and proper storage. Learning and applying basic cooking techniques such as boiling, frying, grilling, and baking to assist in preparing appetizers, pizzas, salads, and desserts. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workstation, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. Assisting with receiving and storing deliveries properly. Handling, maintaining, and cleaning kitchen equipment and tools correctly. About You: Previous experience as a Commis Chef, Kitchen Assistant, or similar role is preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques, especially in Italian or Mediterranean cuisine, is advantageous. Ability to follow instructions accurately and pay attention to detail. Strong teamwork, communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
