PThe Marine Technical Sales Specialist supports the growth of FPT Industrial’s Marine business by combining strong technical expertise with commercial strategy. The role focuses on promoting FPT Marine engines, powertrains, and hybrid solutions to shipyards, fleet operators, naval architects, distributors, and system integrators. /pp The ideal candidate acts as a technical ambassador for the FPT brand, ensuring that customer needs are translated into the right product configuration while driving new business opportunities in line with FPT Industrial’s strategic roadmap. /ppbrVuole candidarsi? Legga tutte le informazioni su questa posizione qui sotto, poi prema il pulsante per candidarsi.br/ppbKey Responsibilities /b /ppbCustomer Market Development /b /pulliBecome the technical reference with bFPT Distributors /b, bshipyards, commercial fleets, governmental agencies, distributors, and OEM partners /b across assigned regions. /liliPromote FPT Marine engine families (e.g., bNEF, Cursor, Vector /b) and hybrid/auxiliary solutions. /liliTechnical support for business opportunities in expanding FPT’s market share in commercial, pleasure, and special‑application marine segments. /li /ulpbTechnical Commercial Support /b /pulliProvide customers with in‑depth technical guidance on engine selection, power ratings, duty cycles, cooling systems, certification requirements, emissions compliance, and installation best practices. /liliPrepare technical proposals, cost estimates, and product configurations using FPT tools and systems, supporting Commercial Team. /liliCollaborate with bEngineering, Product Marketing, Application Engineering, After‑Sales /b, and bQuality /b teams to ensure feasible and competitive solutions. /li /ulpbProject Lifecycle Management /b /pulliSupport customers throughout all project phases: concept evaluation, feasibility, design-in, factory acceptance, commissioning, and post‑delivery support. /liliParticipate in sea trials, technical workshops, and audits when required. /liliProvide structured feedback to FPT Industrial’s global teams to support product development and portfolio evolution. /li /ulpbInternal Collaboration /b /pulliBecome Marine technical reference for FPT Organization, working across Commercial Teams and Program Management / Platform functions /liliContribute to Marine business planning, pricing strategies, and portfolio growth initiatives. /li /ulpbr/ppbRequired Qualifications /b /pulliBachelor’s degree in bMechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture /b, or a related technical discipline. /liliProven experience in btechnical sales, application engineering, or business development /b within the marine industry. /liliStrong understanding of bmarine propulsion /b, diesel technology, hybrid systems, and vessel integration. /liliAbility to interpret specifications, drawings, and class requirements (RINA, DNV, ABS, Lloyd’s, etc.). /liliExcellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills. /liliAvailability to travel (domestic and international). /li /ulpbr/ppbPreferred Qualifications /b /pulliDirect experience with bmarine diesel engines /b, powertrain systems, or propulsion integration. /liliFamiliarity with FPT Industrial’s product portfolio or similar heavy‑duty engine manufacturers. xdwybme /liliKnowledge of hybrid/electric propulsion trends and emissions technologies (SCR, DOC, DPF, etc.). /liliMultilingual abilities. /li /ulpbr/ppbSoft Skills /b /pulliCustomer‑centric mindset /liliStrong technical curiosity and problem‑solving ability /liliCross‑functional teamwork /liliSelf‑motivation and autonomy /liliAdaptability in a highly dynamic global industrial environment /li /ul
