Collaborate with site leadership on quality and Customer Experience metrics, including the root cause analysis of problem areas.Streamline logistics in the operation through the implementation of standard work and team leadership.Support and commit to all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates.Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools.Focus on safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity of the department.
Supervisory Responsibilities
You and your team of Transportation Associates are responsible for ensuring Amazon customers receive their orders.You are responsible for ensuring you have properly trained people, and that their needs are addressed so they can focus on their jobs.Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.Lead change at internet speed because innovation has made us the global company that we are today.
Salary RangeUSA, OH, Wilmington - 70,000.00 - 90,900.00 USD annually.Basic Qualifications
2+ years of employee and performance management experience.Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques experience.Experience managing a team of 20+ employees.Experience with process improvements (Lean process, Kaizen, and/or Six Sigma).Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field.Industry experience in retail, F&B, military, manufacturing, automotive, biotech, electronics, energy, instrumentation, machinery, defense/aerospace, medical, cosmetics, production, or distribution environments.
