Our historic hotel, with its Michelin‑starred Italian restaurant and a locally inspired spa, is just steps away from the cultural heart of Florence. /p h3About the Role /h3 pFour Seasons Hotel Firenze is seeking a talented Pastry Chef de Partie to join our team. The Chef de Partie will supervise and oversee the preparation of a variety of sweet items—including pastries, cakes, ice creams, sorbets, and fruit compotes— in accordance with guest orders and banquet event requirements. The position requires adherence to production guidelines and quality standards while maintaining a safe and sanitary working environment. This role demands a special talent and passion for ensuring the culinary team delivers the highest culinary standards consistently, placing our food offering at the center of the guest experience. /p h3What You Will Do /h3 ul liPrepare a variety of pastry items, ensuring guests consistently receive the highest standard of quality and service excellence. /li liFollow established production, portion, and presentation standards, aligning output with forecasted needs to minimize waste. /li liMaintain a safe, clean, and sanitary working environment at all times. /li liSupport initiatives to control food waste and contribute to effective food cost management. /li liAssist the Pastry Leadership team in guiding, developing, and mentoring team members. /li liOperate, maintain, and ensure the proper cleaning of all kitchen equipment, including ovens, mixers, food processors, slicers, and other pastry tools. /li liAdhere to food safety procedures by properly labeling, dating, and rotating stock, ensuring correct storage temperatures and efficient inventory management. /li liMonitor stock levels, identify shortages, and support line set‑up and preparation for service. /li liAttend daily briefings and relevant operational meetings as required. /li liAssist with preparation for subsequent shifts, including the setup and cleaning of work areas. /li liProvide support in other kitchen sections as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork. /li /ul h3What You Bring /h3 ul liA minimum of two years of culinary or related work experience within a luxury environment. /li liStrong multitasking skills, with the ability to operate, maintain, and properly clean a wide range of kitchen equipment, including ovens, mixers, food processors, slicers, steamers, and other culinary tools. /li liProficiency in spoken and written Italian; knowledge of English is considered an advantage. /li liA creative flair and the willingness to bring your personal touch and energy to all food and beverage experiences. /li liAbility to provide guidance to others. /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 ul liCompetitive salary, wages, and a comprehensive benefits package. /li liExcellent training and development opportunities. /li liEmployee discount for stays at any Four Seasons worldwide. /li liComplimentary dry cleaning for employee uniforms. /li liEmployee meals. /li liStaff accommodation upon availability. /li /ul h3Schedule Hours /h3 ul liFull‑time position, seasonal contract, based in Florence.
