For an automated retail software start-up company based in Italy, we are looking for a Sales Specialist DACH to lead commercial development in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The role focuses on B2B SaaS sales to vending operators, automated retail companies, and smart store operators interested in connecting their machines to delivery platforms and digital payment systems.
This is a high-autonomy role for someone comfortable building relationships, managing the full sales cycle, and expanding a new market.
Market development
Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the DACH region
Identify and approach vending operators, automated retail companies and smart store operators
Sales execution
Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, demo, negotiation, closing
Support the CEO in developing relationships with vending industry players and retail technology providers
Market feedback
Provide insights on pricing, positioning and market dynamics in DACH
Collaborate with product and leadership team to adapt the offering to local market needs.
3–7 years in B2B sales, preferably SaaS, retail tech, food tech or vending industry
~ Experience selling to SMB / mid-market operators
~ Comfortable managing the entire sales cycle independently
Sales stack & tools
The candidate should be comfortable using the full modern sales stack, including:
CRM systems (e.g. Prospecting tools ( LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, etc. )
Digital outreach and lead generation (Google search, LinkedIn, email campaigns)
Pipeline and deal management in CRM
Online demo tools (Zoom, Meet, etc.)
The role requires a hands-on, full-stack sales approach, from lead generation to closing.
Strong commercial mindset and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
