Sales Director - European Market Expansion
We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Director to drive growth across Europe, managing and growing Harbour's presence in the region. The ideal candidate will have strong relationships in the furniture, hospitality, or design trade sectors.
The successful candidate will manage a small growing team of outside sales reps in Europe, work closely with the Managing Director of Europe and APAC, build local partnerships, and represent the brand with excellence.
* Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives, market trends, and customer needs.
* Set and achieve ambitious sales targets and KPIs to drive revenue and market share growth.
* Monitor market conditions, competitor activity, and emerging trends in outdoor living and furniture sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Planning:
* Drive sales through multiple channels including retail, direct-to-consumer (DTC), e-commerce, wholesale, and B2B partnerships.
* Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the sales team.
Team Leadership & Management:
* Provide guidance, training, and support to sales team members, ensuring they meet or exceed individual and team sales goals.
* Analyze data to identify sales trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Client Relationship Management:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including retailers, distributors, commercial accounts, and large-scale buyers.
* Negotiate and close high-value sales contracts, ensuring favorable terms and long-term relationships.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
* 7+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in the outdoor furniture, home goods, or a related industry.
* Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and building high-performing sales teams.
