The successful candidate will be passionate about authentic Mediterranean and Tuscan cuisine and committed to supporting the kitchen’s high standards through careful preparation, teamwork, and attention to detail. /ppReporting directly to the Chef de Partie, this position is ideal for those looking to grow their culinary career in a refined yet welcoming setting that celebrates tradition and quality. /ppbr/ppbr/ppstrongMain duties and responsibilities /strong /ppbr/pulliAssist in the preparation and presentation of dishes to meet the high standards of quality, taste, and appearance, following established recipes and plating guidelines /liliSupport consistency and precision during service, helping to maintain the identity and integrity of Tenuta Toscana’s culinary philosophy /liliCollaborate smoothly with service staff to ensure timely delivery and guest satisfaction /liliTake responsibility for maintaining cleanliness, readiness, and organisation of the assigned workstation at all times /liliWork under the guidance of the Chef de Partie, assisting with tasks and learning to complete them accurately and efficiently /liliCommunicate effectively with other kitchen sections and restaurant staff to support smooth operations during service /liliAssist with preparation tasks to ensure all ingredients and components are ready, organised, and properly set up ahead of each service /liliDemonstrate calm and professionalism when in the kitchen, even under pressure /liliPrepare the line for each dish, ensuring all components are ready and organised for efficient service /liliReceive deliveries and help check the quality and freshness of ingredients, reporting any concerns /liliEnsure proper use and basic maintenance of kitchen equipment within the assigned area /liliHelp minimise waste and contribute to portion control and cost management initiatives /liliFollow and uphold strict hygiene and safety protocols according to HACCP and Tenuta Toscana’s internal standards /liliApply proper food handling, storage, and labelling procedures /liliMaintain a clean, organised, and compliant working environment at all times /liliReport any maintenance or safety concerns promptly to supervisors /liliDisplay a proactive, respectful attitude, contributing positively to the kitchen team environment /liliUphold Tenuta Toscana’s values and standards in conduct and culinary practice /liliEngage actively in training, tastings, and development opportunities to improve skills and progress within the culinary brigade /li /ulpbr/ppbr/ppstrongRequirements /strong /ppbr/pulliCulinary education or vocational training, ideally from a hospitality or culinary school /liliIdeally 1–2 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with exposure to luxury or fine dining environments preferred /liliGenuine interest in Tuscan and Mediterranean cuisine, with a willingness to learn traditional techniques and modern plating /liliUnderstanding of kitchen operations, food safety (HACCP), and ingredient handling /liliStrong team spirit, with the ability to follow instructions and work efficiently under supervision /liliGood organisational skills and attention to detail, especially in preparation and station setup /liliFlexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays /liliFluency in Italian; conversational English is considered an advantage /liliClean and professional appearance, in line with the standards of a 5-star environment /li /ulpbr/ppbr/ppstrongBenefits /strong /pulliFull-time contract in accordance with the Italian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) /liliMeals provided both during working hours and on days off /liliUniforms and laundry service provided /liliOngoing training to enhance personal and professional development /liliDiscounts on dining, wellness, and sports activities available at the resort and estate /liliAccommodation with free Wi-Fi can be arranged upon request for those coming from outside the area /li /ulpbr/ppbr/ppThis research is addressed to candidates of both genders with reference to Italian Law 903/77 and Law 125/91. /ppThis position is based in Tuscany.
