A leading coeducational day international school for students 2-18 years. Catering for about 550 students, we offer a core feeding of AMSnack and Lunch with some hospitality at this location. This operation runs Monday to Friday and is a term time only contract operating 43 weeks per year.
We are looking for a talented Commis Chef to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Milan. If you are a current chef or want to train and develop to become a chef by joining our chefs academy, please apply today. You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients and regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.
Key Responsibilities
* Work well in a team, providing breakfast, lunch & hospitality
* Produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the company’s brand standards
* Ensure company food standards are adhered to and wastage is controlled
* Follow all food hygiene, health & safety policies, and allergen control procedures
* Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage
* Excellent customer service skills

Knowledge / Competencies
* Ability to demonstrate reasonable/good understanding and use of verbal English
