Job Description:
Job Responsibilities
* Leading front-line sales efforts across Italy, engaging directly with OEMs, end users, and partners within the industries sector, including Metal, Chemical, Pharma, Plastics, and related industries.
* Managing a portfolio of strategic and mid-sized customers, identifying business opportunities and securing long-term relationships.
* Defining and executing sales strategies to meet and exceed growth targets, while adapting to competitive dynamics and customer expectations.
* Driving complex negotiations and ensuring successful closure of technical-commercial offers in close cooperation with Application Engineers and Technical Support.
* Supporting and coaching the Italian sales team to strengthen customer engagement and improve sales performance across the country.
* Monitoring sales performance, pipeline status, and market trends to ensure accurate forecasting and proactive planning.
* Working cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Management, and Service to deliver comprehensive solutions that respond to customer needs.
* Ensuring CRM adoption and data accuracy to support transparency, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Educational background in industrial engineering, electrical engineering, energy, or related fields.
* Proven experience of at least 5 years in B2B sales management roles within multinational, medium-structured organizations, preferably in technical areas related to automation and drives/inverters.
* Deep knowledge of the Italian market with a focus on the industrial sectors, including Metal, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Plastics, and related industries.
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex commercial negotiations and build strong, long-lasting relationships with strategic customers.
* Strong results orientation and ability to achieve ambitious sales targets.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer management skills.
* Team-oriented mindset with experience in coordinating distributed sales teams.
* Market and trend analysis capabilities with a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities.
* Knowledge of main CRM tools and reporting and forecasting processes.
* Excellent command of Italian and English, both written and spoken.
