NDT Sales Specialist role at Wabtec Corporation
Evident Inspection Technologies, a Wabtec company, is a world leader in the manufacture of innovative inspection equipment used in industrial and research applications in the aerospace, power generation, petrochemical, civil infrastructure, automotive and consumer products industries. We offer a wide range of ultrasonic and eddy current flaw detection software and equipment. Our equipment is used, among other things, to inspect welds, detect hidden cracks, voids, porosity, and other internal irregularities in various materials.
What will your typical day look like?
* Analysis of the market in the sales area and development of yearly Action Plans
* Define and follow up Account Plans
* Provide commercial and technical support to customers, and technical support to Inside Sales (advice or demos in customer facilities)
* Achieve sales targets in the assigned area
* Plan regular visits to customer facilities
* Create leads and opportunities
* Prepare technical and economical offers
* Regularly follow up opportunities from creation to close
* Report opportunities, follow up, and activities in the CRM (Sales Force)
* Attend exhibitions and marketing events
* Design and schedule local workshops and seminars
* Product installation and customer training
* Provide technical support to our distributor ADG in the south of Italy
Area to cover: Vall D’Aosta, Piemonte, Liguria, Toscana, Emilia Romagna and Malta; provide support to the ADG distributor in the south of Italy.
Responsibilities
* Drive sales growth through technical expertise and customer engagement
* Execute a strategic market approach in the Iberia and Italy regions
* Collaborate with regional sales management to achieve targets
Qualifications
* 5+ years experience in NDT-related industries
* NDT technique knowledge and experience
* Good proficiency in English and Italian
* Strong sales and commercial skills
* Italian industry market knowledge is a plus
* Availability to travel within the assigned area and Europe for internal meetings and training
