Senior Sales Manager MICE
As a seasoned professional in the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events (MICE) segment, you will be responsible for driving business growth from this lucrative market. Key responsibilities include developing strategic relationships with corporations, event agencies, PCOs, and DMCs to secure group bookings and maximize hotel revenue through tailored sales initiatives.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key MICE clients and partners.
* Build and execute a MICE sales strategy to achieve room night, event space, and revenue targets.
* Organize and conduct site inspections, client meetings, and sales trips to promote the hotel.
* Respond promptly to MICE RFPs with customized proposals and creative solutions.
* Negotiate group contracts ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
* Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and roadshows.
* Partner with catering, banquet, and operational teams to ensure event execution excellence.
* Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies.
* Maintain a strong presence in local and international MICE markets.
* Regularly update the CRM with client activities and maintain accurate forecasting and reporting.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar MICE-focused role within the hotel industry.
* Proven success in selling to corporate and MICE clientele.
* Strong organizational, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to work independently, under pressure, and manage multiple priorities.
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
* Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
* Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
* Full Time CCNL.
