THE POSITION
We are looking for a passionate and professional Commis de Cuisine/Commis Chef to join our team.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Knowledge of kitchen procedures is mandatory
Familiar with food hygiene and relevant health & safety standards
Maintain a clean work area and uniform
Ensure that all stock are kept under optimum conditions
Carry out the preparatory work for creating dishes
Help check food items on delivery and tidy them into cold storage
Prepare dishes so they are ready for guests at the right time
Qualifications
Prior experience in luxury hotels/restaurant kitchens, as well as high volume establishments
Ability to work well with others xrdztoy and support team members in a group setting
Be creative, a dedicated team player, passionate about food and committed to work
Ideal Commis de Cuisine candidate should have a culinary degree and/or an equivalent experience
