Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a passionate and results-driven K-Way retail Area Manager to oversee and elevate the performance of multiple stores within a defined geographical area.
With a strong presence in the field, this role is pivotal in driving business growth, enhancing team capabilities and motivation, and coordinating support functions such as Retail Operations, Retail Performance, Retail Excellence, and Merchandising Planning.
The ideal candidate is committed to exceeding market sales expectations while ensuring a best-in-class customer experience across all touchpoints.
Business Leadership
* Define sales targets and consistently monitor key business and retail KPIs.
* In collaboration with Store Managers, design and implement action plans when business performance falls short or new opportunities arise.
* Deliver solid and consistent results by adapting strategies to each store’s specific context.
Customer Experience
* Champion the K-Way store experience, ensuring all available tools and resources are leveraged effectively.
* Foster a customer-first mindset across all teams, ensuring exceptional satisfaction levels.
Team Development
* Recruit store staff and leaders who embody the brand’s values and demonstrate strong sales and service capabilities.
* Focus on team performance through motivation, training, and empowering Store Managers to excel.
* Ensure the store managers' leadership reflects the company’s values and culture.
Operational Excellence
* Guarantee full compliance with standard operating procedures (e.g., scheduling, daily briefs, etc.).
* Act as a strategic problem solver, stepping in to resolve issues that may detract from Store Managers’ business focus.
* Identify store needs and mobilize support from HQ accordingly.
* Communicate relevant business trends and customer insights back to HQ.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
* Experience: Minimum 5 years in retail, ideally within premium or luxury ready-to-wear brands. In-store experience is essential.
* Leadership: Proven experience managing teams; able to design and lead organizational structures, inspire talent, and make decisive calls.
* Collaboration: Strong team player—reliable, adaptable, with excellent communication skills and a talent for building alignment with peers.
* Execution: Practical, well-organized, and focused on implementing impactful and sustainable solutions at store level.
* Energy & Presence: A high-impact, high-energy professional who leads by example.
* Languages: Fluency in Italian and English is required. French is a plus.
The position will be primarily based between Milan and Turin.
