Zuma is a contemporary Japanese restaurant collection, inspired by the dynamic Izakaya dining style. This role will be based in Zuma Rome. Located in the iconic Palazzo Fendi, with a stunning restaurant and beautiful roof terrace overlooking the "eternal city", this restaurant is an essential experience in Rome. Main Duties
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Prepare a variety of desserts and pastry items in accordance with recipes and guidance from senior chefs, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.
* Maintain adequate mise en place levels for seamless service, focusing on minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency
* Monitor the quality, consistency, appearance, and taste of all food products, delivering excellence in every dish
* Conduct daily hygiene checks in storage areas, ensuring compliance with Zuma's rigorous cleanliness and safety standards
* Take an active interest in learning other kitchen sections to support team collaboration and adaptability
* Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance to reflect Zuma's commitment to professionalism
