Sales and Business Development Manager

We are hiring a Sales and Business Development Manager who will work closely with our Chief Commercial Officer to boost sales of our small‑satellite components toward both commercial and institutional customers. In this role, you will impact the sales, marketing and product strategies. The ideal candidate will have led sales cycles, particularly with satellite manufacturers as customers, and will act independently from lead generation and account management to securing sales contracts.

Location: Turin, Italy

Starting date: January‑May 2026


Responsibilities

* Account management
* Lead generation and qualification
* Attendance to industry events (travels involved)
* Bid management and coordination with the engineering team
* Participation in product strategy


Requirements

* 3‑5 years in sales of aerospace and/or defense products (ideally satellite hardware)
* STEM / technical background
* Ability to manage end‑to‑end sales cycles independently
* Excellent interpersonal and account management skills
* Outstanding business intelligence skills
* Proficient knowledge of the satellite market (nice‑to‑have)
* In‑depth understanding of satellite technology (nice‑to‑have)
* Familiarity with CRMs and MS Excel
* Fluent in English

About the Hiring Process

1. 15‑min screening call with Gaia (HR Manager)
2. Take‑home exercise (depending on the role)
3. 60‑min interview with Filippo (CCO)
4. 45‑min behavioural interview with Marco (CEO), HR and the founding team
5. Welcome onboard!
