JOB OBJECTIVE
Main areas of business in the scope of the position are:
* Infrastructures protection and smart cities
* Cyber security
* Homeland security & defence
* Digital transformation of Public Administrations and Large Enterprises
The successful candidate will provide a market view transversal to the Thales organization, identifying and developing internal synergies and facilitating dialogue between prospective customers, Thales Group, and relevant partners and stakeholders.
They will leverage extensive business networks to identify and develop opportunities for Thales to valorize its value-added and local capabilities in the domestic market.
Additionally, they will promote Thales capabilities in the domestic market, increasing group visibility and market awareness, and providing thought leadership to clients and stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Analyze and stay updated on market analysis for target segments
* Define, in coordination with Sales & Marketing and Product Teams, a positioning strategy for the markets and a commercial plan
* Develop specific business opportunities, including qualification in terms of budgets, scope, value proposition, and partnerships, and coordinate with Sales and bid teams on the Capture Plan
* Promote Thales capabilities towards target markets through communication and marketing actions, and towards specific customers to increase customer intimacy and develop trusted partner relationships
* Guarantee operational expertise, including briefings, presentations, and white papers
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS
* Understanding customer decision processes and senior commercial experience
* In-depth knowledge and experience in target market segments
* Well-developed personal relationships and networking in target markets
* Drive to identify and pursue opportunities to completion
* Ability to provide strategic and tactical recommendations
* High communication skills and transparency
* Ability to transfer knowledge through lectures, white papers, and presentations at meetings, conferences, and exhibitions
* Team player
* Willingness to travel regularly
