Summary:
For the 2024 Season, for our renowned property the Delta Hotels Marriott Giardini Naxos, we are seeking a Front Office Agent to serve as our customers’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their stay. The Front Office Agent's responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information on rooms, rates and services. If you have a talent for customer service and experience working in the hotel industry, we are waiting for you in order to create a memorable and pleasant stay for our beloved guests.
Job specific tasks:
Perform check-in and check-out activities;
Manage online and telephone reservations;
Inform guests about payment methods and verify their credit card information;
Greet guests upon arrival and assist them with their requests;
Address guests’ service needs, including asking questions of guests to better understand their needs and listening to guest preferences in order to be proactive.
Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and services;
Respond to guest complaints in a timely and professional manner
Work with our housekeeping staff to ensure that all rooms are clean, tidy and fully furnished to meet guests' needs
Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP guests and event attendees
Upsell the hotel facilities, amenities and services when appropriate
Maintain up-to-date reservation and payment records
Candidate profile:
Experience as front office agent, receptionist or similar role;
Experience with property management system, preferred Opera;
Sense of customer care;
Excellent communication;
Organizational skills;
Problem solving;
