About the Role The Sales Engineer – Industrial Lubricants is responsible for developing and managing the sales of high-performance lubricants and related solutions in the Italian industrial market. The position combines technical expertise with strong business acumen to provide customer-oriented solutions that improve operational efficiency, reduce maintenance costs, and support sustainability goals. The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge in industrial lubricants, tribology, or mechanical engineering and experience in industries such as manufacturing, steel, cement, energy, food processing, or chemicals. Sales & Business Development Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve growth targets in the Italian industrial lubricants market. Identify and acquire new customers, particularly industrial end‑users, distributors, and OEMs. Build and maintain long‑term customer relationships through regular visits and continuous technical and commercial support. Conduct market analyses to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities. Technical & Application Support Provide technical advice to customers on the selection, application, and optimization of lubricants for industrial equipment (e.g., compressors, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, bearings). Perform lubricant audits, oil condition analyses, and efficiency studies. Collaborate with the technical team to develop customized solutions and resolve lubricant-related issues.
