About the role
As the Commercial Marketing Director for Business Group Wide Bandgap, IGBT & Modules, you will drive and own the customer pricing, customer negotiations and customer capacity allocation – sales.
What you will do
1. Drive the performance and perspective development of a global team of commercial marketing managers
2. Prepare allocation and pricing scenarios
3. Set pricing and allocation strategies together with the Product Group managers
4. Execute defined pricing and allocation strategies
5. Coordinate allocation management efforts and act as internal and external escalation point for allocation decisions
6. Coordinate various internal operational processes, e.g. distributor price book management
7. Margin and revenue ownership for BG WIM, execution against Rolling Financial Forecast (RFF)
8. Collaborate across the company with peers in other business groups, sales and marketing organisation and corporate pricing board
9. Stakeholders: Product Group managers, Global Sales organisation, Regional BG champions, Global Supply Chain team, BG Finance, BG General Manager, corporate pricing committee, other BG Commercial Marketing leads
10. Key metrics: margin, revenue and customer satisfaction
What you will need
11. Master's degree in business administration or other management related studies
12. Minimum 8+ year’s experience in commercial marketing or pricing related roles
13. Experience of semiconductors / electronic component businesses preferred but not essential if able to learn rapidly
14. Agile, fast thinking and thorough; high attention to detail
15. Commercially & financially savvy
16. Ability to grasp cost drivers and challenge Product Management, R&D, Finance and Operations as appropriate
17. Ability to communicate proposals & decisions clearly and concisely to stakeholders, Sales and customers
18. Ability to take decisions and defend these with sound reasoning; ability to say „no“ as required
19. Well developed Excel skills (pivot tables and manipulation of large data sets), including ability to create/select appropriate visualizations
