Responsibilities
Maintain excellent business relationships with assigned accounts to increase customer satisfaction and secure new business
Provide functional guidance and support to Global Key Account Managers in line with customer agreements and Marquardt policies
Lead advanced acquisition activities (RFIs/RFQs), including timelines, design-to-cost targets, and defined deliverables
Actively scan the market to identify new business opportunities and provide relevant feedback to management
Contribute to the financial performance of running projects through continuous improvement activities (e.g. VA/VE, changes)
Support the execution and achievement of the 5-year sales growth plan
Drive all commercial negotiations with assigned customers
Contribute to product development strategies aligned with customer and market needs
Provide regular feedback on market conditions, competitor activities, and progress toward business objectives
Contribute to Key Account strategies and operational improvements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field
3–5 years of experience in a customer-facing sales or business development role, ideally in electronics or mechatronics
Proven account development and new business acquisition experience (hunter mindset)
Solid knowledge of sales and business development methodologies
Good understanding of Marquardt markets (Industry & Distribution, Home Appliance, HVAC, Powertools)
High level of autonomy and strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluent in English and Italian
Strong team spirit and ability to work effectively in an international environment
Advanced presentation and networking skills
Technical background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is a plus
